As the country enters a new phase of the pandemic crisis, businesses are emerging from the restrictions of earlier months with resilience and innovation. Here, two owners share their stories.

For many businesses, the coronavirus crisis spelled disaster. With little time to prepare for the effects of a national lockdown, some fell off a cliff-edge as customers cancelled orders, shopping habits changed, and supplies became sparse. It’s been a struggle for all, but many have survived. For some, that is due to a creative outlook that has seen them reshape their offering to suit the so-called “new normal”.
